How It Works

The 30-second version, then a full walkthrough of one week.

The 30-second version

Every week you get a card with 7 sports questions, one per day. Each question has 2 possible answers. You pick one per day.

Here's the twist: you also get 7 tokens to spend, one per day. The token you spend on a day decides how many points that pick is worth.

Put your Bomb (34 points) on the day you feel best about. Save your Chalks (8 points) for the toss-ups.

Maximum possible score in a perfect week: 118 points. The leaderboard ranks by score. You need 3 correct picks to bank Cup Points. Wrong picks do not end your week. Your other tokens still play.

Your seven tokens

Same allotment every week. You decide which day each token goes on.

Your best day

Right pick → you earn the full value of the token you spent. Bomb on a correct day = 34 points.

Wrong pick→ 0 points. The token is gone. You don't get it back, and you can't move it to another day.

The cost of a wrong Bomb isn't the lost points (a Chalk would have gotten you 0 too). It's the lost opportunity. Your week's upside is now capped lower.

A full week, walked through

Here's how a real week plays out from Monday to Sunday.

Monday: the card drops

You open the app. The Week 4 card has 7 sports questions, one per day. You have until Tuesday morning to pick your answers and assign your tokens. You spend about 90 seconds reading the questions, then plan your token spend:

DayPickToken spent
D1NBA: Edwards outscores Tatum tonightChalk 8
D2NBA: Jokic outrebounds GiannisBold 21
D3NFL: Nico Collins outgains Ja'Marr Chase in receiving yardsBomb 34
D4NFL: Mahomes throws more TDs than HurtsAvg 13
D5MLB: Cole records more strikeouts than SkenesAvg 13
D6Golf: Scheffler shoots a lower round than McIlroyBold 21
D7NASCAR: Larson finishes higher than ByronChalk 8
Potential maximum if you go 7-for-7: 8 + 21 + 34 + 13 + 13 + 21 + 8 = 118 points.

Notice the strategy. You put your Bomb on Nico Collins, the day you feel most confident in your edge. You kept your Chalks on Day 1 (less sure) and Day 7 (could go either way). Your Bolds are on the days you have a strong read but not a lock.

Tuesday through Sunday: results come in

Each day, the real-world result drops. Your dashboard updates automatically.

Final tally

84 / 118 points, 5 of 7 correct.

You cleared the 3-pick minimum, so you bank Cup Points. Your Bomb landing was the difference. That single correct call was worth 34 points, almost a third of the week. If you'd put your Bomb on Day 2 (Jokic) instead of Day 3, the week would look very different: 8 + 0 + 21 + 13 + 0 + 21 + 8 = 71 points. The token placement was the difference between 71 and 84.

Sunday night: Cup Points land

Say 47 players locked in that week. Your 84 points finishes in the Top 10%, so you bank 40 Cup Points toward your season. Post the single top score and you also grab the 🏆 Champion badge, which stays on your profile for good.

That's the whole game.

The 3-pick eligibility floor

You need at least 3 of 7 picks correct to bank Cup Points that week. Below 3, you score zero for the week and no Champion badge.

This is the skill floor. Pick Sevn rewards being good, not just showing up. If you can't get 3 of 7, you're probably guessing.

If nobody hits 3 correct, nobody banks Cup Points that week.Rare, but it happens. That's by design.

The free game and the Cup

The free game (live now)

No entry fee, ever. Every week you play earns Cup Points based on where you finish. They stack up all season.

  • Finish higher, bank more: 3+ correct → 2, Top 50% → 5, Top 25% → 15, Top 10% → 40, Top 5% → 90, Top 1% → 190.
  • A perfect week (7 of 7) is worth 500 and locks your Cup spot on the spot.
  • The week's top scorer earns a permanent 🏆 Champion badge. Tied at the top? Everyone tied gets it.

The Cup (the payoff)

At the end of the season, the best players meet in the Cup. One week, the same 7-pick game, for a guaranteed $10,000 prize (once 75 players buy in).

  1. You qualify for free. Finish the season in the Top 100 on Cup Points, or post any perfect week.
  2. Entry is $100, and only qualifiers can buy in. You earn the right to play.
  3. Cup Points reset each season, so every season is a fresh shot at the Cup.

Season 1 kicks off with NFL Week 1.

A few things you can't do

  • Change your picks or token assignments after lock.
  • Enter more than one card per week.
  • Save tokens for next week. Every token you don't assign before lock is forfeited.
  • Put two tokens on the same day. Each day gets exactly one.
  • Play if you're under 18.
  • The free contest is not available in all states. See the Official Contest Rules for the full list of blocked states.
